Cassava

Instructions 

 

FRYING PAN 

1. In a frying pan or electric fryer, heat enough oil to 180 ° C to cover the entire product.
2. After heating with oil, add up to 10 units at a time of the frozen product and fry them, for 5 to 6 minutes, or until they are golden and crispy.  Turn them over half the time.
3. With spoon, remove them and place on absorbent paper.
4. Season with salt and serve immediately.

 

AIR FRYER:

1. Spread approximately 300g of the frozen product in the basket.  If you want a more crunchy, before taking it to the Air Fryer, drizzle with oil.
2. Fry at 200 ° C for 10 to 11 minutes or until they are golden brown.
3. Remove them from the basket and place on paper towels.  Serve according to your preference.
Note: the time may vary according to the brand and model of the equipment used.  Check your Air Fryer manual for the time and temperature indicated by the manufacturer.

There is no need to defrost the product to prepare.

 

TIP: –The fried cassava can be consumed as a snack, starter, and as a side for main dishes .  Pure, it can be served with sauces of your preference, such as mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, or it can also be sprinkled with cheese.

 

It can be a versatile ingredient, can add creaminess and flavour to a soup and can be used for delicious desserts such as cakes and puddings. Dumpling and pies, are excellent with cassava, and can be substituted for mashed potatoes and pastas, like gnocchi and ravioli.

 

 

Fruit Tea

INGREDIENTS:

• 100g of Frutamil Passion Fruit Pulp

• 100g of Frutamil Pineapple pulp

• 1 Branch of Cinnamon

• 3 Cloves

• 4 Tbsp sugar

• 3 1/2 cups water

 

INSTRUCTIONS

1 – Dissolve the sugar in 1/2 cup of water.

2 – Cook until it boils and add the pineapple pulp, passion fruit pulp, cinnamon and cloves.

3 – Add another 3 cups of water and let it boil for 5 minutes.

4 – Strain, serve and enjoy this delicious dish.
